We started running in Turkish energy market with sales of lighting products from 1983 in Ulus-Ankara and continued with the manufacture of metal oxide surge arresters by 2000s in our 1200m2 site in Ostim-Ankara. Our success in M.V. arresters of Turkey’s energy system has let us courage to take part in the M.V. composite insulators, post insulators and switchgears from 2009.

Indeed, at the beginning of 2010 by working with an international test laboratory for type tests on 36kV / 40kN and 100kN our insulators have passed through the tests successfully (IEC 61109, IEC 62217) and found suitable under the specifications of TEDAŞ and of TEİAŞ. Our products are currently professionally inspected and documented in terms of compliance with product-testing and quality agents (TSE 60099-4, TSE62271-102,ISO9001, ISO14001) quality / environmental systems).

All of our products are able to meet M.V. system needs both in the domestic and international energy markets with the relevant current standards and compliance with the specifications.

After the founder Mr. Yasar Ermiş deceased in 2014, PRATEK continues to be managed as a family partnership to maintain the reliable brandname without compromising on its quality of experience and good reputation in the market, while preserving its environmental sensitivity.
